The exhibition explores the origins of racism and discrimination through contemporary art and the social sciences. How are stereotypes related to origin—whether real, perceived, or imagined—formed, and how do they shape our lives from childhood onward? Drawing on striking artworks and recent European research, the exhibition reveals the mechanisms, sometimes invisible, that perpetuate these inequalities in education, employment, housing, and healthcare.
